We believe the most important aspect of achieving your goals, alongside training hard, is changing nutritional habits. It is for this reason that we have and will continue to research the science behind why and what nutrition is important.
We regularly conduct weekly, bi-weekly and monthly challenges for our clients that have seen some stunning results.

Alongside your training, you will be given certain guides with the appropriate methods to help change your nutritional habits in order to achieve your goal. Sustainability is key and at Richard Harris Performance we realise busy lifestyles can sometimes get in the way of achieving these goals. Therefore we will help you gradually introduce the habitual changes needed to get you on your way to improved health and lifestyle.


During your initial consultation for personal training or strength and conditioning, we will perform specific body composition tests that will help us identify where you are storing body fat. We can therefore provide specific guidance as to how to reduce body fat in these certain areas. These tests can also be booked separately as a part of a one off nutritional consultation. Some of the secrets behind our successful Nutrition plans are going back to basics utilising methods used by our hunter-gatherer ancestors. The Paleo lifestyle, according to Dr Loren Cordain, founder of the Paleo movement is


“based upon eating wholesome, contemporary foods from the food groups our hunter-gatherer ancestors would have thrived on.. foods such as fresh meats, preferably grass-produced or free-ranging beef, pork, lamb, poultry, and game meat, if you can get it, fish, seafood, fresh fruits, vegetables, seeds, nuts, and healthful oils (olive, coconut, avocado, macadamia, walnut and flaxseed).”
